DreamBoard’s beta has updated to version 2.0.1. DreamBoard 2.0.1 fixes lots of issues that were identified in 2.0, and while many bugs were fixed, there are still a few to iron out.
Here’s the breakdown of the update:
FIXED: preview pics on the theme switcher screen don’t show up
FIXED: preparing the theme takes a long time (too long)
FIXED: the _Library/Cache/Icons folder is not being created
FIXED: icon badges don’t update or dismiss
FIXED: phone app calling interface is transparent
FIXED: multitasking and safari backgrounds show dreamboard theme homescreen so it is a mess
TODO: launching apps through bundleIDs have a large delay (appicons and appgrids).
TODO: entering and exiting edit mode has a large delay
With this version comes a new bug thats rather ugly to any theme that is built in landscape view. The orientation is not correctly set and the theme rotates with DreamBoard cutting off about 1/4 of the theme. This new bug has been listed on DreamBoard’s GitHub page, so hopefully Andrew gets it ironed out soon!
Remember, if you would like to test out and use DreamBoard 2.0.1, you still need to join Andrew’s beta program. You can join the beta program on his site Here
